Concourse Counterpoint: Momenta Quartet and Friends
We're excited to present our first in-person concert of the season at the Andrew Freedman Home in the Bronx! We'll be playing an eclectic mix of pieces by Joseph Haydn, Carl Bettendorf, and Carlos Salzedo, as well as Stephanie Griffin's chamber arrangement of the "Liebestod" from Richard Wagner's opera "Tristan und Isolde".
Joining us for this concert are Ariadne Greif, soprano; Karen Lindquist, harp; William Hakim, viola; and Carl Bettendorf, conductor.
Proof of vaccination and masks are required (both--not one or the other!) Admission is free.
This concert is made possible through the City Artist Corps Grants program, presented by The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), with support from the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) as well as Queens Theatre.
